Meet Dr. Shayla

Dr. Shayla believes that the secret to living a healthy life begins at an early age. Educating her patients on how to achieve their optimum health is her top priority. Through chiropractic and nutrition, she provides pregnant mothers, their children, and their families, the care and support they deserve. She uses a drug-free, gentle approach centered around removing interference to your nervous system, allowing your body to function at its highest potential.

Her Path to a Chiropractic Career

Dr. Shayla grew up dancing competitively. At the age of 12 she began experiencing hip pain that interfered with dancing, school sports, and eventually it was painful to even walk without the assistance of crutches. She spent months in physical therapy, taking medication, sitting out at dance, and being in a tremendous amount of pain.

A fellow dance peer saw how Dr. Shayla was struggling and recommended what had worked for her, chiropractic. Dr. Shayla and her mother had only one previous experience with chiropractic and were willing to give it a try. The doctor did a thorough exam and then adjusted on the first visit. After only one week of treatment, Dr. Shayla was back dancing! Relieved, amazed, (and a little upset that no one had recommended chiropractic sooner), Dr. Shayla was intrigued to learn what else Chiropractor’s could do, and eager to spread the word of the power of chiropractic to others.

In high school Dr. Shayla did an internship at that same chiropractic office. She learned how a chiropractic office was run, what other conditions they could treat, and heard first hand numerous stories of how chiropractic turned people's lives around. She now knew, with no shadow of a doubt, that she was destined to be a Chiropractor.
